Fall Cakes

I have had the opportunity to create some really fun Fall themed cakes over the years.

Check out this adorable little ghost cake. Isn't it just perfect for a fun Halloween party? It was such a hit at my son's preschool party. All of the moms actually thought it was a ceramic table centerpiece until I got ready to cut into it.

This cute, little Native American TEEPEE Cake was so much fun at our Thanksgiving celebration.

Fall weddings are just so beautiful to me and this cake was absolutely perfect for this outdoor, Fall wedding.

This adorable pumpkin themed first birthday cake was covered in just buttercream which is not very common for me. Most of my cakes are covered in fondant but I thought it turned out so smooth that you really couldn't tell.

This was the same pumpkin first birthday theme but done in fondant this time. They are just too adorable!

 Pumpkin Smash Cake!

This First Birthday Pink and Orange Cake was created for one of my very best friends' little girl. It was so fun to create and I thought it just turned out oh so sweet.

Buttercream was used again on the sculpted pumpkin cake as it was to be the smash cake for the sweet baby birthday girl.

Fall on the Farm!!!! Is this not the most fun party theme. A birthday party at the Pumpkin Patch needed a perfect fall birthday cake and I think we got it covered!

 Another sculpted pumpkin smash cake!!!!

Fun little pumpkin cupcakes accented the pumpkin smash cake for the party guests.

And my favorite Fall cake of all just has to be this beautiful Pumpkin Princess Castle Cake.

It just doesn't get any sweeter than an adorable cowgirl boot cake.

I hope you enjoyed all my fun Fall cakes!!!!

Super Hero Cakes

Being I have a house full of little boys, super hero cakes are a pretty exciting thing around here. I wanted to share a few of mine with you.

This one was for a man from his wife as a surprise. The logo on the right is the logo for his company. She asked me to somehow show that "he" was a superhero, a great dad, a hard worker, and a great husband.  They all loved it.

Now this is a superhero cake that I have created several times but this time we switched it up a bit and put Iron Man on the top. I love the Hulk fist busting out of the brick wall.

This is a Batman cake for an older boy. We tried to make it look more dark and brooding....lol.

See...I told you I have created this Superhero cake a few times.

I just love this sweet and simple Superman Cake.

Oh wait...here is this one again.

Now this is the Superhero cake of all Superhero cakes. It was an Avengers Cake that I created for my son. Captain America, Hulk, Iron Man, Hawkeye, and Thor are all represented.

Here are some fun little Superhero Cupcakes.

Batman Lego Cake

Even the girls get a little representation on this Supergirl Cake.

Captain America Cake

Spiderman Cake

Spiderman, Batman and Superman Cake

If you thought that cake with the heroes going around the side was great, check out this one...we threw in a couple more guys.

Spiderman Cake

Undercover Superman Cake

Check out all that awesome texture!

Here are some Hero worthy Superhero Cupcakes!!!

Hulk even made the cut for this superhero cake.

I do not get to create many superhero cakes for girls, so I just loved creating this Supergirl Cake.

This rustic/dirty superhero cake is perfect for an older boy who still loves Superheroes.

The Hulk fist, Captain America shield, Iron Man energy thingie (what is that thing called...I know it...just can't think of it and I have literally watched this movie a gazillion times with my boys) and Thor hammer are all fondant and completely edible.

Nightwing is a great alternative to the regular Batman cake for an older boy.

Sailor Moon Cake

I can not wait for the next one. I love the bright colors of Superhero cakes. They are just the best!!!

Sports Cakes

This entire post is dedicated to all of the fun sports cakes I have made over the past few years. My absolute favorite is this incredible baseball cake that I got to create this past week. I just fell in love with it. The client sent me a picture of what she wanted so this is entirely not my design or idea, but I still love, love, love it. Everything is completely edible...even the baseball. I sponge painted on food coloring to give it that dirty/antique look. Such a cool design.

This football cake was created for a little boy who plays football for a local school team...the Warriors. What kid doesn't want his jersey and team logo on a cake. When his mom asked him what he wanted, he said "I don't care as long as it is so cool all the other boys on the team want one". Such a smart boy!!!

This Mississippi State Cowbell Cake was huge. The picture just does not do it justice. It was massive and stood over two foot tall. My husband is a huge MSU fan so this was the cake I created for him this year. Simple and sweet with four layers of yummy strawberry and lemon cake!!!!!

Well...when you live in Birmingham, AL and make cakes, you make a lot of Alabama Cakes!! This is one of my favorite designs with the houndstooth pattern cut out in fondant and giant fondant A on top. Roll Tide!!!

These adorable Alabama cupcakes would steal the show at any tailgating party.

What do you do when you can't decide what team you want represented on your cake....or what sport....you get them all together in a Stealers football cake and New York Yankees baseball cupcakes!!! I loved creating this cake. It turned out perfect!

New York Yankees Cupcakes

Check out the perfectly shaped soccer ball cake. Those little shapes were placed individually to give it a very realistic look.

And here is a fun little football cake for a family dinner. Every birthday deserves a great cake...even if it is just a small family dinner.

This was actually my very first sculpted football cake.

This Mississippi State University Football Helmet Cake actually made it on the coaches facebook page as it was taken to the game for the birthday celebration. I thought that was pretty awesome.

Alabama Cake

Mississippi State University Cake

Big sister to the little boy who received the football helmet got this awesomely adorable Mississippi State University Cheerleading Cake.

And another Alabama Cake. Those Alabama folks really like cake!

Here is a larger version of the Soccer Cake.

I created this simple little cake for my son's soccer team when it was our night to bring snack for the game. No apple wedges here...we gotta get all the sugar in we can...lol.

University of Florida Cake

Greenbay Packers Jersey Cake

Auburn University Groom's Cake with fondant tiger bride and groom. Check out that incredible marble on the top ledges of the Auburn sign...that is some great detailing if I do say so myself.

Okay, okay...laser tag isn't exactly a sport, but I thought if you liked all the others on this post you would love this one.

OKC Thunder Cake

NFL Cake with team logos all hand cut out of fondant.

Alabama Football Helmet Cake

Trey's Football Cake

I just love creating sports cakes.
